Additional information:
This course is both innovative and forward-thinking, particularly with respect to similar coursework at comparable academic institutions.

The course addresses employment as an inseparable aspect of social work as it applies to the individual, the community and the nation. It reflects the approach and decisions made by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services, their local Departments and Welfare-related organizations as a whole.

The course combines theoretical learning with practical and applicable learning. This is further enhanced with extensive day-to-day examples from the lecturers’ first-hand experience. Both lecturers work as high-level managers of an Israeli NGO that works to promote employment among underprivileged, poverty-stricken populations.

Students needing academic accommodations based on a disability should contact the Center for Diagnosis and Support of Students with Learning Disabilities, or the Office for Students with Disabilities, as early as possible, to discuss and coordinate accommodations, based on relevant documentation.
