Course/Module description:
This course aims to provide assistance that meets the needs of Arab students, who are starting their studies in the School of Social Work. The focus in the course will be on both, the academic and the social- emotional aspects. In both arenas Arab students, more than other regular Israeli students, face unique obstacles.
Course/Module aims:
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1- Students will learn how to manage the challenges that they are coping with, during the first year of their studies, both in the academic and in the emotional –social levels.
2- Students will acquire the necessary tools in order, to perform their academic requirements.
3- Students will thoroughly learn the basic, theories, modules, and terms in the field of social work, that are relevant to their academic level.
