Course/Module description:
One of the challenges faced by professional workers is related to their ability to assess the extent to which they have succeeded in achieving the goals of the intervention. In the 1970s, a model called a single subject design (SSD) was developed to help professionals monitor the intervention process and assess the extent to which outcomes are attained, paying special attention to the context in which interventions take place. The course focuses on this approach. We will learn and practice the conceptual system, using specific cases based on field of experience of the students.
