Course/Module description:
The course will introduce the structural perspective of family therapy .Initiating work with the different subsystems of the family. Significant emphasis will be given to the dynamic role of the therapist. Who intentionally attempts to alter the structure or function of the family. And construct, planned clinical, therapeutic alliance. We shall examine different case studies of family therapy: identifying psychodynamic processes and discuss the possible clinical interventions.

Guidelines for exercises:
You have to choose articles out of the mandatory reference list, and answer the following questions:(exercise length will be up to 1 page).
a.Mention and expand one thing you learned from the article.
b.Define and write in detail question/dilemma that arise from the article.
c.What is the main cause for promoting the therapy, as it is evident from the article.

General guidelines for the final paper: the purpose of the paper is to combine the mandatory articles to the family that you are working with through out the year.Each one of you will describe and analyze the therapeutic process, based on the mandatory papers that were taught during the course. And according to 3-5 additional articles (according to your judgement).The articles will refer more specifically to the main issue of the therapy/family.
