Course/Module description:
The practicum course will present a therapeutic approach based on the major theorists of the psychoanalytic approach. During the semester we will learn the basic concepts for understanding the dynamic of psychosis, the initial injury and regressive conditions. Also, we will discuss the practical application of these understandings in the treatment and rehabilitation fields. Classroom discussion will include examples, case studies and dilemmas of students from their work in the field, in an attempt to link the theoretical knowledge and practice.
