Course/Module description:
This course explores the dynamics of inter-ethnic relations, focusing on historical and social aspects of ethnic interactions. This course delves into the complex and multifaceted relationship between Ukrainians and Jews from historical and contemporary perspectives. It explores the cultural, social, and political dynamics that have shaped interactions between these communities, examining periods of cooperation, conflict, and transformation. Likewise, this course investigates the role of different imperial national policies in the formation of Ukrainian-Jewish relations.
