Study the structure of discrete subgroups of locally compact groups.

Course/Module aims:
Same as in learning outcomes.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
understanding and familiarity with the the structure of discrete subgroups and lattices of various locally compact groups

Topics will include Fuchsian groups, Mostow rigidity, QI rigidity for non uniform lattices.
