Course/Module description:
It is widely accepted to take for granted some of the foundational premises of contract law. This course seeks to analyze alternative conceptions suggested by Jewish contract law, in a way that might challenge contemporary perspectives.
Course/Module aims:
Exploring key issues of contract law in Jewish law, while comparing them to modern theories of contract law.
