Course/Module description:
The course will be divided into three parts: 1. Analysis of the trial 2. Analysis of the judgement 3. Analysis of the critique against the trial. Special attention will be given to the background of the adoption of the law against nazi criminals and their collaborators 1950 2. The question of the jurisdiction of the Israeli court 3. The personality of Adolf Eichmann 4. Hannah Arendt and her book.
The course will be given in Hebrew.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
The Eichmann trial is one of the founding moments in the history of Israel. The course will allow a legal understanding of the matter.
