Course/Module description:
Developing theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for conducting quantitative and qualitative research.

Course/Module aims:
The course is designed to provide advanced knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods in the social sciences.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Describe and understand research designs and statistical procedures in the social sciences.
2. Select research designs relevant to different types of research questions and data.
3. Acknowledge limitations of the various designs for various research questions.
