Course/Module description:
The course develops students' research knowledge and introduces them to a range of methodologies. Major topics include: the foundations of scientific research – theory, hypotheses, models; project design; research challenges, data collection and analysis.

The course develops students' research knowledge and introduces them to a range of methodologies. Major topics include: the foundations of research – theory, hypotheses, models; project design; research challenges, data collection and analysis.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Students will critically review research programs and develop their own research program. They will plan a detailed methodological plan including: designing the research program, formulate research questions and hypothesis, and writing a literature review.
