תאור כללי של הקורס:
בסמינר זה נלמד תיאוריות ביקורתיות מסורתיות המבינות "תרבות" במונחים של שליטה/התנגדות וחפצון/אותנטיות כמו גם תיאוריות מתקדמות הטוענות שילוב מורכב של חידוש, יצירתיות והבנייה מחדש של יחסי כח בחיי התרבות. הסמינר מכשיר אותך להבין את ההשלכות של אופנים שונים של תיאוריה וביקורת התרבות בהקשר של הניתוח של מצבים תרבותיים ספציפיים. תשומת לב מיוחדת תינתן לניתוח המצב הקולוניאלי וללימודי חיי היומיום כתחומי דעת ומחקר אשר חידשו את התפיסות המסורתיות של תיאוריה וביקורת התרבות.

להכשיר סטודנטים לחשיבה ביקורתית בניתוח תרבותית

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
• לשלב פרדיגמות שונות של חשיבה ביקורתית

• לנתח פרקטיקות, אובייקטים, או מוסדות תרבותיים באופן ביקורתי

• לדון באפשרויות והגבלות של תיאוריה תרבותית

• לתאם משגים תיאורטיים למצבים ומיקומים תרבותיים מסוימים

• לבקר את היחסים בין תיאוריה ופרקסיס/פרקטיקה
