Course/Module description:
This course is required for first year students in the master program of the Psychobiology Area. Students are required to participate in research work conducted in one of the labs, supervised by the principal investigator of the lab.
This research experience will serve as the basis for submitting "MA empirical seminar paper" (required as part of the first year program - please enroll also in Course No. 51717)

Course/Module aims:
Experience research lab work. Get first hand knowledge of research topics in the Brain and Behavior lab of the Psychology Department at the Hebrew University. Knowledge of research approaches and methods. Serve as basis for the empirical seminar paper, and for the conceptualization of the MA thesis.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Knowledge of the research topics in the lab.
Knowledge of research methods.
Mastering research planning, formalizing research questions, devising methods for studying these questions, collecting data, analyzing data, discussing the findings.
