Course/Module description:
Case evaluation, opening of psychotherapy, resistances, transference, Counter transference, clinical interventions, termination.

Course/Module aims:

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
• Guided hands-on experience in treatment and diagnosis.
• Link between theoretical study and practical application in clinical work.
• Exposure to the professional activities of clinical psychologists.
• Exposure to different approaches in treatment and diagnosis expressed in staff meetings of different professionals.
• Dedicated preparation toward the start of specialization in clinical psychology.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction:

Course/Module Content:
• Scope of training: in the 1st year, 10 hours per week; in the 2nd year, 20 hours per week.
• Conducting psychotherapy in 2-6 patients, respectively to the progress of the student in the practicum. At the same time, students receive personal and group training in therapy.
• Conducting psychological diagnosis in two patients. At the same time, students receive personal and group training in diagnosis.
• Taking part in the daily activities of the clinic/department.
