Course/Module description:
participants will conduct short-term therapy with weekly supervision, and collect data on process ;and outcome using questionnaires.

Course/Module aims:
1. To gain experience in short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy
2. To understand basic processes in psychodynamic therapy- transference, countertransference, defenses, termination, and more.
3.To learn about research in psychodynamic therapy.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. To understand the basic processes in short-term psychotherapy
2. To formulate simple research questions in this area and analyze them with the appropriate statistical tools.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: workshop to teach the CCRT MODEL
weekly supervision of students' therapy tapes
group discussion of research questions.

1. The CCRT MODEL
2. Change processes in short-term psychodynamic therapy.
3. The therapeutic relationship, working alliance, rupture and repair.

Additional information:
Students conduct an hour a week of therapy and receive an hour a week of supervision. They also fill questionnaires and make sure that the patients filled them as well. Students who are interested in developing and MA thesis from this data - contribute to the data set by coding several tapes according to protocols.
