Course/Module description:
When, how and why do people express emotions and what factors influence the recognition of emotion from facial, vocal and bodily cues? Emotion perception is critical for interpersonal communication but how exactly so is largely unknown. The students will participate in research aimed to tackle key questions in emotion perception.

Course/Module aims:
To gain experience in the process of designing, implementing, running, analyzing and writing up a study.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Following the course, students will be able to formulate a research question and execute an experiment.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Students will participate in lab-based research and lab meetings and activities
