Course/Module description:
The workshop will examine the difference between literary and dramatic writing, analyze screenplays, and ask about points of view, dialogue, and narrative structure. Students will be required to submit their work on a weekly basis. At the end of the workshop will submit a screenplay for a short (10 mins) film. Acceptance to the workshop is dependent on the submission of a one page synopsis of an original idea for a short film. The number of students is limited.

Attendance requirements(%):
Attendance is required

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Workshop. Students will submit 3-4 assignments and will be required to review the works of the others. The end product of the workshop will be a 10 min screenplay

Additional information:
At the end of the workshop will submit a screenplay for a short (10 mins) film, which will constitute 100% of the grade.
Submitting all assignments (save one) is a precondition for the submission of the screenplay.
