תאור כללי של הקורס:
סקירה שיטתית של הנתונים אודות פעילות ריקוד בחברות ציידים ולקטים (אתנוגרפיה ופרהיסטוריה), חברות כפריות (אתנוגרפיה, ובתקופות הניאולית והכלקולית) וחברות עירוניות (אתנוגרפיה, תקופות הברונזה והברזל).

מטרות הקורס:
מתן רקע כללי ומתודולוגיה למחקר ריקוד בחברות עבר.

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
ניתוח איקונוגרפי של סמינות ריקוד. מודעות להבטים של ג'נדר וארגון חברתי.

יש להגיש 5 תרגילים, מתוך 10 שיוצעו במהלך הקורס. התרגיל הראשון חובה, ויש לבחור עוד 4 מתוך ההיצע בהמשך. כל תרגיל יהיה באורך של 4-6 דפים ויכלול רשימה בבליוגרפית של 3 פריטים לפחות. התרגיל יהיה כתוב כמאמר מדעי: הקדמה, שאלת המחקר, הנתונים, ניתוח, סיכום ומסקנות, רשימה בבליוגרפית. יש להקפיד ששיטת הציטוט והבבליוגרפיה מאורגנים כהלכה.
