תאור כללי של הקורס:
נציג מבט כללי על התפתחות הציביליזציות של איראן ומרכז אסיה מהופעתם של העמים האיראניים על במת ההיסטוריה ועד לכיבוש המוסלמי. נדון בסוגיות נבחרות בהיסטוריה, דת ואמנות של העולם האיראני הקדם-אסלאמי ובמקומו המרכזי של המרחב האיראני כגשר בין תרבויות וציביליזציות באירואסיה.

מטרות הקורס:
סקירה רחבה של תרבויות, תהליכים היסטוריים ומושגי יסוד של איראן ומרכז אסיה בתקופה הקדם-אסלאמית.

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
הכרות בסיסית עם תהליכים ומאורעות מרכזיים בהיסטוריה של העולם האיראני בתקופה הקדם-אסלאמית.
